The stabilizer bar...

With the custom intake plenum coming through the hood, we were worried that the torque twist of the engine would bang the plenum on the hood. So this no cost engine stabilizer bar was built.

We took from the parts car an old tie rod and engine hoist bracket. Those pieces were cut and welded together and made to mount to the modified AC bracket. Everything was then powder coated. The rubber mounted end is attached under the coil, next to the strut tower. A support was welded behind the bar into the strength of the tower. The engine has virtually no movement, but the rubber mounts keep the chassis vibration to a minimum.
