The concept of this contest was to be able to see and share the worldwide views of all ages regarding the devastation created by tobacco products. We were overwhelmed with entries from 47 countries; that's 25% of the countries in the world! The quality and quantity of the entries made it extremely difficult to make the first judging cut down to 180 finalists. Following that, it took many hours to break them down to the top 40 and even longer to then decide the top 10 finalists. Those top 10 were then sent to the judges in 8 countries for scoring to decide the #1 anti-smoking cartoon in the world. Please note, this contest was open to all ages for the grand prize and title, but when none of the youth made it to the top 10, we created 3 youth aged categories and gave the 1st place winner in each a cash prize.
